There are three things wrong with this film: it's not reality; it's not a book; and it's not bad.
With the weight of expectation on Chris Colombus and Daniel Radcliffe's shoulders, everyone seems to have forgotten that this is a film, and NOT a book. Even though it's two and a half hours long, there was never any way in which it could be a completely faithful adaptation of the book. Characters who are lightly sketched in the book had to be sacrificed to ensure that the story worked. And ultimately, that was what had to happen on screen, that the story flowed for both fans of the book and also cinema-goers who would have no idea of what Harry Potter was all about. The loss of the Dursleys' opening scenes will most likely be rectified by later films, since they appear as bookend characters. Poppy Pomfrey, Peeves, Polkiss, the mention of Mrs Figg, the rest of the Potter family in the Mirror of Erised: all of these omissions are reasonable in light of this film introducing a series of stories.
The first twenty minutes are, I think, the true test of the audience. For those who've read the books, it probably takes too long to get to the story proper, leaving out all the active, conflict-filled moments, such as Harry's first encounter with Malfoy and his cronies, most of Harry's life with the Dursleys, and the set-up of Neville's forgetful nature. For someone coming to it cold, it probably whips by too quickly, leaving too much said by characters rather than dramatised by action; remember that actions speak louder than words, and never more so than in the movies.
Once in the second act, however, the story reaches its tone quite quickly, and there are moments of sheer brilliance, including the entry into the Great Hall, Harry's first broomstick flight, the Quidditch match, the Invisibility Cloak, the emotional tone of the Mirror of Erised, and every single thing about the Dark [Forbidden] Forest.
Daniel Radcliffe plays the cipher of Harry Potter to perfection. He's never completely certain about his actions unless it's for the sake of his friends or the memory of his family. He's an Everyman, whose greatest characteristic is loyalty. The only problems he has are during the first act, which is a difficult part of the film anyway. From the entry to Hogwarts onwards, however, he's a joy to watch: his delight in his friendships, in being recognised for his strengths, the emotional rollercoaster he endures during the Mirror of Erised sequence, you can see exactly why Chris Colombus held out for Dan's casting. I think if anyone has a problem with Dan's performance, it's because he's not a broad, visual actor, but one where everything is a slight shade of subtlety. Similarly, Harry is not a broad comic character like Ron, nor an over-achiever like Hermione; he's the rock against their wind and water.
Rupert Grint is just brilliant, with the timing of a comic genius, the rubber-faced contortions of a master, and the emotional range of actors many years his senior. We can expect great things from Mr Grint.
Emma Watson in her first screen role is the supporting lady that Harry Potter needs. I believed every moment she came out with the right information, I believed that she had feelings to be hurt, and I believe that she has so much more in her to come. I hope we get to see all that this riveting young actress is capable of.
Robbie Coltrane as Hagrid makes him not only menacing at need, but also loveable beneath that hair. I'm sure that many actors would have felt overwhelmed by the costume, the make-up and the prosthetics, but Robbie inhabits the part. Jo was right to have him in mind. I can't wait to see him with Cher as Madame Maxime.
Before I saw the film, I never thought that there would be any other actors who would stand out in such a cast of great youngsters and well-established names, but Sean Biggerstaffe as Oliver Wood and Tom Felton as Draco Malfoy are two stars in the making. Sean's Oliver is strong, visionary and above all, funny, and I foresee great things for him. Tom Felton brings Draco to life, much more so than Harry Melling as Dudley, making Draco sly and superior, but also vulnerable and comic, and I can't wait to see more of his turn as Harry's school nemesis.
Richard Harris, Dame Maggie Smith and Zoe Wanamaker's characters are somewhat backgrounded by the antics of their students, but then the film IS called Harry Potter and the Philospher's Stone, so it can only be expected. They provide a great mix of adult role models, and a strong backbone for the human side of Hogwarts.
Of course, any film of Harry Potter would be nothing without the witchcraft and wizardy. As a filmgoer, I never expected to see reality, since magic doesn't yet exist in our world, so how would we know what it looks like? To complain that the CGI was below par is amazing. The Burmese Python was fantastic, its motion absolutely believable. The Quidditch match and Harry's later solo pursuit of the winged key are literally breathtaking, and I felt my heart beating harder when Harry caught the Snitch. If CGI wasn't working there, I don't know when it was. I could go on, but I will just add that the Invisibility Cloak, from both outside and inside, was just inspired, and much better than I would have thought possible.
Diagon Alley was amazing. To those detractors of the scenic design, just look at Mr Ollivander's shop: how many wand boxes can you see? And, do you think they were built on mainframes?
There is so much more I could, and will say, but I'll stop here. Just enjoy it. It's a dream of a ride.

The music was just recycled from previous movies and the comedy moments just didn't work!
A very poor conclusion to the series.
Free full star wars 3a episode ix- the rise of skywalker php. If I don't see Force Ghost Anakin moonwalking across the stars, this whole trilogy will have been wasted. This movie is a bit of a disaster and lacks the compulsory aspects of cinema. Both the main characters of the trilogy and new characters introduced are stuck in a bubble of greyness that has little-to-no development and a complete absence of meaningful arcs. Poorly written dialogue made it painful to listen to, and didn't have that comedic edge that previous episodes had to fill in for said dialogue, which in turn didn't give actors much to work with. Not-so-subtle attempts to rewrite the works of Episode 8, which is a slap in the face to its own saga. Sometimes filmmakers must understand that the best way to deliver "fan service" is by creating a magical masterpiece of cinema, and this film was light-years away from the mark. Visually pleasing, as the entire trilogy has been, but not enough to get this film over the line.
This whole thing is a confusing contrived mess. Can't wait to see everyone there! I know everyone commenting here is going to go see it. Una llamada inesperada, y él se despertó inmediatamente, en su cama semi-vacia. Claro quien iba a ser a esas horas de la mañana. Bea, llorando su soledad y su tristeza.
En apenas 20 minutos, el le habia llevado, chocolate, bollitos y miel. Y su compañía, tan añorada por ella.
- Deja eso ahí, y dame un abrazo, el más grande que tu cuerpo puede entregar a una persona como yo. Si de verdad me aprecias. Dijo ella-
El casi tiro todo, y se entrego a esos ojos inundados y cabizbajos, para cumplir lo prometido.

Mientras el sonreia al pronunciar estas ultimas palabras, ella le confirmaba con una sonrisa y asintiendo con su cabeza. Esa que mostraba unos ojos brillantes, ahora.
No es que no lo supiera, pero ella necesitaba oirlo a menudo, así su corazón se liberaba de esa eterna duda, de esa sensación de aislamiento.
Aun a pesar de la predisposición de ambos a disfrutar de la compañía, no terminaba de encajar todo esto, pero tras una discusión viene la calma.
Ahora era el momento de comprobar si el dia a dia era lo que esperan ambos, o que posibilidades habia de soportarse cada uno al otro, sin empezar de nuevo esa asquerosa rutina.

Como cada mañana sonó puntual su despertador, y como cada comienzo de semana, odió que fuera lunes. Perezosa, hizo callar el estridente sonido del reloj y se dio media vuelta en la cama.
- Arriba Bea. - Pensó, pero su cuerpo no hacía caso a lo que su responsable cabeza decía.
Al cabo de un par de minutos se destapó y sintió el frío de la mañana en sus brazos desnudos, se sentó en la cama mientras se ponía las zapatillas, y luego mientras se desperezaba, fue hacia la ventana para subir la persiana. Allí se quedó durante unos instantes, contemplando el ajetreo que tenía la calle a esas horas.
Esto, lo repetía cada mañana como si fuera un ritual.
Tras una ducha rápida, desayunó mirando por la ventana mientras ordenaba los pensamientos su cabeza después de varios días "locos".
Una vez que estuvo preparada, cogió el bolso, el móvil y las llaves y se miró en el espejo de la entrada, sintiendo al ver su imagen reflejada que hoy se comería el mundo.
Condujo durante unos 15 minutos casi sin prestar atención, tenia el recorrido grabado a fuego en su cabeza, hasta que llego al lugar donde se encerraba durante horas, donde había días que sabía la hora a la que entraba, pero no la hora de su salida.
Fue saludando a algunos de sus compañeros que pasaban por "su" sitio. Mientras soltaba el bolso y colgaba su chaqueta en la percha, vio a Alex al fondo del pasillo. Alex es el "nuevo", aunque ya hacía algo más de un año que trabajaba allí. Al principio todas las chicas admiraban su imagen, y sobre todo su trasera; y es que, aunque no fuera un hombre realmente guapo, si que había algo en el que hacía que tus pensamientos fueran más allá que las palabras.
Pasados los primeros meses, y con ellos la novedad, la admiración hacia Alex disminuyó.
Y entonces llegó la navidad y la consabida cena de empresa que por estas fechas se organiza, en la que hay que reunirse y aparentar simpatía con todos los compañeros y especialmente con el jefe. Y fue cuando, al terminar la cena y ya la mayoría se marchaba a casa, cuando Alex se atrevió a hablar con Bea. No es que fuera la primera vez que lo hacía, pero nunca pasaban de hablar de algún asunto que tuviera que ver con el trabajo, y mucho menos fue en horas no laborales.
-Hola, Beatriz.
-Hola, pero dime Bea, Beatriz me suena... no sé... demasiado oficial.
-Entonces empezaré de nuevo: Hola, Bea.
-Así está mejor -dijo con una sonrisa-. ¿Ya para casa?
-Eso parece, pero yo venía a invitarte a tomar algo por aquí cerca, ¿te apetece?
-Uhm... bueno, no es muy tarde, y tampoco tengo ganas de llegar a casa. No tengo de todas maneras nadie que me espere.
-Bueno, pues tu dirás a donde ir. No conozco la zona.
Después de algunas copas y de una larga charla sobre asuntos del trabajo y cosas poco importantes, comenzaron a hablar sobre ellos, de sus vidas, de lo más trascendental hasta casi lo más íntimo.
Y se hizo tarde, y la conversación y los ánimos dio pie a que Alex le invitara a tomar la última en su piso. Bea aceptó, no sin antes pensar en la negativa, pero le apetecía que la noche siguiera un poco más. Salieron del abarrotado local en el que estaban y caminaron durante un rato hasta llegar al piso donde él vivía.
Una vez dentro le invitó a sentarse y a tomar algo. Hablaron un rato más, hasta que llegó un momento en el que sus labios se encontraron en un mismo punto. Al principio eran besos tímidos, casi se podría decir que eran besos de reconocimiento. Luego dieron paso a otros más salvajes, donde las lenguas se abrían paso en la boca del otro y las manos empezaban a actuar por su cuenta buscando el cuerpo del otro.
Primero, las de Bea fueron a parar a su cabeza, para ir descendiendo por su cuello, hombros y hacia la espalda, este continuo baile arriba y abajo siguió durante unos minutos. Las de él, empezaron en su cuello y fueron descendiendo por sus brazos, para luego saltar hacia el comienzo de sus pechos. Este cambio en el juego la sorprendió e hizo que su libido continuara en ascenso. Ya se buscaban con deseo y desesperación; y el pudor había desaparecido junto con algo de ropa. Entonces él propuso un cambio de sitio. Se pasaron a la habitación y se tiraron a la cama.
Allí ya la lujuria se hizo dueña de sus cuerpos. La ropa terminó de desaparecer. Las caricias cada vez abarcaban zonas antes inexploradas y los besos fueron cambiando de posición. Alex empezó a bajar por su cuello, besándolo suavemente, en sus pechos se detuvo algo más y se ayudaba de sus manos a la hora de repartir las caricias. Besaba y mordía sus pezones que ya hacía rato que habían reaccionado a las caricias. Continuó bajando por su abdomen, llenándolo de besos, los mismos que hacían cosquillas a Bea. Siguió besando y acariciando llegando hasta sus muslos para volver a sus labios.
El juego siguió y también se repartieron besos por el cuerpo de él. Pero ya se iba buscando algo más, algo que ambos deseaban hacer. Ella le pidió que se tumbara, y se colocó sobre él. Jugo un poco más, le hizo sufrir, le hizo desearlo más y con más intensidad si cabe. Y cuando ya no lo esperaba, comenzó a hacerle parte de ella, de su cuerpo. Entonces, retrocedió, y le miró con picardía. Sabía lo que él quería, y sabía cuanto disfrutaba haciéndole eso, haciéndose desear. Se acercó hasta sus labios y casi sin rozarlos, los besó dulcemente. Y con un rápido movimiento de su cuerpo, le hizo parte de ella. Y ya su cuerpo no obedecía a ninguna ley, tomó vida propia y se movió, y continuó así durante varios minutos.
Y la noche continuó, y con ella el sexo. Hasta que cayeron rendidos por el placer.
Entonces, y solo entonces, se dio cuenta que lo había vuelto a hacer, pero no se sintió mal. Sintió que lo había deseado, que lo había querido, y sobre todo disfrutado.

Añoraba su dulce sabor, anhelaba sus minutos intensos, extrañaba todo lo que entrego y recibió. Pero aun así, no volvería a disfrutar de él. De ese magnífico fin de semana. Volverían otros, mejores o peores, pero nunca iguales, nunca con esa intensidad y oportunidad.
Mientras se prometía que no pensaría otra vez en él, volvía a escribir en el espejo "I Love You", con su corazoncito pertinente. Se miraba y sonreía, a ese espejo que perdía con el vapor de la ducha, las palabras y sentimientos escritos.
Sabía que era difícil cumplir sus promesas, ya que por mucho que esperaba ver crecer dentro de sí misma esa flor que todos cuidamos (cuando existe), a ella realmente no le nació.
Eso tan solo un día después, unas horas después de pelear en la cama, ya casi era un desconocido para ella. Estaba pensando:
- ¿Otro más?. No por favor - mientras gritaba en el silencio.
¿Solo fue sexo?. Como es posible, si ella no lo admite sin pasión y cariño solapados a este. Aunque no significa que no lo recibiera. Porque el éxtasis llegó, el sudor y el placer un poco más tarde, mientras él seguía penetrándola con fuerza y locura.
3 días y 2 noches locas, sin casi tiempo. Se le oía decir por toda la casa:
- Esta vez no, lucharé por encontrar en él algo que me llene. No quiero repetir siempre la misma mierda.
Sabia que se la jugaba, porque era consciente del pasado que Pablo había sufrido. Y algo amargo circulo por su garganta al leer un SMS que recibió:
- Quiero estar junto a ti,
quiero dejar de sufrir,
quiero dejar de soñar,
solamente volver a vivir.
Solamente ....... junto a ti.
Ahora no necesitaba navegar por el móvil, eso se quedo memorizado en su cabeza vacilante, loca y dudosa, hasta de sí misma.
Al principio, él que noto algo de inseguridad, le había susurrado mientras rozaba con 2 dedos su sexo húmedo:
- No te preocupes, déjate llevar por las sensaciones.
Quizás llego muy lejos, porque ella le llegó a demostrar la confianza que no existía, le demostró que estaba dispuesta a él.
Su pelo ya casi seco, tapaba su cara con disimulo. Pero ella no dejaba de avanzar y rebobinar en su cabeza, la aventura vivida estos días. Buscaba y encontraba, veía y recordaba momentos para los pros y los contras. Se repetía preguntas que ya sabia que no respondería. Algo le ocurría, porque ni se preocupo en vestirse de modo "impresionante", ni de maquillarse. No se miro al espejo del final de pasillo, mientras salía de casa de camino a la cita que esperaba poder haber evitado.
Quizás solo quería no volver a repetir las palabras que tantas veces dijo sin interés ni precaución. ¿Volvería a ser la chica de la mirada triste?. Dudoso. No tenía ilusiones en ese proyecto así que prefirió anularlo.
Eligió...Eligió no querer compartir de nuevo su compañía con él. Decidió ser la que mañana se prepararía el desayuno, la que se diría "Buenos días". Ella misma.
El café a medio sorber, sobre la mesa de la terraza, quedo helado en la pequeña taza que Pablo acababa de dejar. Tan helado como el cuerpo de él, como su sonrisa. Sin esperar nada más, se levanto y huyo del lugar, para pensar, o para llorar, quien sabe. Las palabras tan directas de ella le habían destrozado.
¿Cómo podía verse sola en esa mesa, en su vida, otra vez mas?. Si la primera noche ya jadeaba de forma brutal, mientras sus manos ardientes agarraban el cabecero de la cama. Y su cuerpo curvado se agitaba una vez tras otra, hasta caer del éxtasis final, y agarrar con fuerza y rapidez la cabeza que ascendía desde debajo de su ombligo, con una sonrisa picara. Si para él, ella era lo primero, si cuando nadie le había hecho sentir tremendo placer. ¿Que era lo que fallaba?.
Ni se planteó, ¿qué hubiese pasado sí....?. No. Nada. Dijo que no. Sentía que no era el modo correcto de vivir. De cama en cama, de boca en boca. Seguiría jugando a la lotería, pero no cambiaría "el numero", no cambiaria algo de todo esto.

Bea es una chica normal en su apariencia. Tan normal como cualquier otra chica que puedas ver un día normal, en una ciudad normal, haciendo cosas normales.
Tiene veintimuchos, pero, si la miras a la cara, mientras su sonrisa te muestra sus dientes, puede que una cierta inocencia te haga pensar que tiene menos edad que la que marca su DNI. No es una mujer llamativa, ni exuberante; tiene las curvas suficientes para hacerla atractiva ante los ojos de quienes buscan algo más que una cara. No obstante, la cara que acompaña a su cuerpo es bonita. Tiene los rasgos marcados, con el cabello largo y oscuro. Sus ojos grandes y almendrados están coronados por unas perfiladas cejas del mismo color que su melena. La nariz está en su justa medida, ni muy grande ni muy pequeña, recta y fina. Los labios son, sin duda, lo que más le gusta de ella, el de abajo un poco más grueso que el superior, de un color rosado; además esconden unos dientes blancos y ordenados como si se hubiera hecho con mucho mimo.
Su cara termina con un mentón cuadrado, bien marcado, el cual, en muchas otras personas puede quedar demasiado exagerado, pero que hacen de su cara algo que gusta mirar. Sobretodo si acompañamos todo esto con una tez dorada, entonces tenemos sin duda una de las caras que más gustan ver.
Su metro setenta de estatura hace que no sea bajita, y le da la suficiente altura para ver el mundo desde una buena perspectiva, la suya.
Bea vive sola. Y le gusta. Le gusta vivir en su pequeño mundo y reinar en él. Le gusta disponer de su independencia y no tener a nadie encima ordenándole que hacer en cada momento o donde poner cada cosa. Para eso ya tenia a su jefe.
Que esa es otra, su trabajo. Si le preguntaras a que se dedica, te respondería como con un suspiro que ES abogada y seguidamente te cuenta que trabaja en un bufete de abogados, pero, que es más bien la secretaria de todos, ya que rara vez le han dejado llevar algún caso y eso, si ha ocurrido es cuando nadie mas lo quería.
Bea se considera una mujer de su tiempo, sin grandes extravagancias, inteligente (aunque pueda sonar engreído). Una mujer que sabe lo que quiere en su vida y a la que le gusta disfrutar de sus placeres, como su música, sin la cual no concibe su vida. Disfruta también cuando conduce sin destino o cuando se tumba en la cama a pensar y siente que es lo único que puebla el universo, ella y su cama, el resto de seres no existen y lo único que le rodea, cómo si estuviera en órbita, es su pensamiento.
Pero hay algo que preocupa a Bea. Algo que ha menudo le hace pensar y sentirse sola en su pequeño universo del tamaño de su colchón. Porque aunque le guste y disfrute de su independencia en casa, le gustaría llegar y tener ese hombre perfecto que ella quiere. Ese hombre que aunque no exista se podría crear recortando los rasgos que ella imagina de cualquier revista.
Le gustaría tenerlo para compartir interminables charlas de cualquier cosa, risas, abrazos y demás momentos erótico-románticos.
Muchas veces creyó haber encontrado a 'su' hombre para después darse cuenta que no lo es al encontrarlo dormido bajo sus sábanas a la mañana siguiente.
Este era su problema, tenía una gran carencia de alguien que la escuchara y comprendiera, amara y mimara. Pero ella sólo llegaba a encariñarse rápidamente para luego ver que no era eso lo que iba buscando para establecer el equilibrio en su vida.
